“Do you use Photoshop?”

That’s often the first question I get from people when they find out what I do. Hmmm. I do use Photoshop...but let me tell you what else I do...

I’ve been an artist my whole life. It has been a pursuit that I have cultivated and nurtured for over 30 years. All aspects of my life are inexorably intertwined with being an artist and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Art has always made me appreciate and see the beauty and potential in everything around me.

As a result, design is a running commentary in my head. I gain inspiration from anything I can see, touch, feel and hear. I am always looking for the unexpected that is lying beneath and endeavor to transform the ordinary into extraordinary. I always approach my projects from my client’s point of view to truly achieve what they are looking for. I have an innate ability to know what a client needs and because I can see their goals clearly, the results are always successful.

I have a B.F.A. in graphic/communication design from Syracuse University and have 15 years of solid experience in the fields of illustration and graphic design. I have worked for ad agencies, design studios, corporations large and small, independents and have freelanced for the last 10 years.

Projects I have designed and created include:

  • logos
  • corporate identities
  • magazines
  • book covers
  • publication ads
  • websites
  • tickets
  • brochures, posters
  • exhibits & tradeshow displays
  • custom wedding invitations
  • billboards
  • children’s books

But to answer your question, yes, I use Photoshop. And I rock it out. Work with me and you will not be disappointed.
